We are excited to share our latest academic paper describing an implementation study for the Healthy Parent Carers programme, led by Alice Garrood. The research was conceived and designed by Gretchen Bjornstad, and conducted in collaboration with colleagues from two national charities, Council for Disabled Children and Contact. This study provides insight and understanding of how the HPC programme can be implemented sustainably outside of the research context. The research was originally conceived pre-pandemic but conducted during it, which led to beneficial modifications to enable online delivery. The co-created Implementation Logic Model and Implementation Package were subsequently refined to enable the further roll-out of the programme with other delivery partner organisations.
